WWII GERMAN U-BOAT BINOCULARS -
This is a set of binoculars used by Kriegsmarine personnel assigned to U-boat duty. Each lense is covered with a rubber boot. The eyepieces are also covered with the same type of material. True to German quality the optics tend to be perfectly clear. A black leather strap was issued with the binoculars.

The binoculars come in a black leather case. Of heavy duty construction with thick walls. The lid is hinged at one end. The opposite end has an Aluminum hook with a leather strap. Two rivets are placed one on top of the other. A Kriegsmarine eagle with the leather 'M' is top center of the lid. It is flanked by a rivet to each side.
